In financial markets, information can lose value within seconds. Informist needed more than a conventional digital news portal. It required a high-performance financial information system capable of publishing frequent alerts, synchronizing content and controlling when each subscriber could access it.

The platform also had to make dense, continuously changing market information easy to scan across desktop and mobile devices.

Key product and engineering challenges included:

• Delivering high-frequency financial news with minimal latency.

• Serving real-time, 5-minute delayed and 10-minute delayed news from one platform.
• Protecting premium content through subscription-based access and user entitlements.

Informist required speed, usability and subscription control to work as one connected system. Our product, design and engineering teams therefore planned the content journey from editorial publishing to the moment a user received an alert.

We first structured the platform around equities, fixed income, forex, commodities and macroeconomic news. This created a clear financial information architecture for continuously updated content.

Next, we connected every subscription package to a centralized role-based access model. Editors could publish through one workflow while the system handled real-time and delayed distribution automatically.

Responsive fintech UI/UX patterns were then applied across web, Android and iOS. Users could move between platforms without relearning navigation, categories or content behavior.

Finally, the backend infrastructure was designed for continuous news flow, peak market-hour traffic and thousands of concurrent users. This gave Informist a scalable foundation for launching new financial data products, market segments and enterprise subscription combinations.

Instead of maintaining separate systems for different news products, Informist could manage real-time and delayed services through one intelligent content-delivery platform. This reduced operational effort while protecting premium market intelligence and supporting future product growth.
